Stéphane Benini and Bruno Detante direct together as GORO, the AI creative studio they co-founded in 2022. Both came to it from two decades of work in visual storytelling.
Bruno Detante spent over 20 years in audiovisual production, with documentaries broadcast on Arte, HBO Max and Eurosport, and was among the first directors to bring generative AI tools into a production workflow. He works in French and English, internationally. Stéphane Benini is a director whose AI work has won awards at international festivals. Together they pair technical command with a director's point of view.
GORO produces advertising films, branded content and visual experiences in full AI and hybrid workflows for brands and agencies. The duo have directed work for Mercedes-Benz, Cadillac, Hyundai, Maserati, the NFL and France Télévisions. Concept, tone, rhythm, character direction and grading are directed rather than left to the generator, and they teach that method in a workshop, Don't Press Generate.
