Marc Bethke
About
Marc Bethke is a commercial and automotive director. Born in Hamburg, he studied filmmaking at the New York Film Academy in Los Angeles, then built a career directing launch films and brand campaigns for BMW, Audi, Porsche, Mercedes-Benz and Genesis.
He comes from a fiction-directing background and works closely with actors, and his director's cuts are where that shows most plainly. His short film Mikelis, starring James Cosmo, screened at over 30 festivals worldwide and won multiple awards.
As co-founder of NON Studio he also directs CGI, AI and hybrid productions, including a series of fully AI-generated films for BMW. He treats those tools as an extension of the same directorial eye rather than as a shortcut. Live-action commercial work he directs independently; CGI, AI and hybrid production runs through NON Studio.
